Bar graph of confirmed cases of pertussis (whooping cough) in England from 2002 to 2017. Between 2002-2011, cases of pertussis were low, with an average of 520 cases per year. 
A peak in cases occurred in 2012, with 9367 cases of pertussis recorded. Between 2013-2017 cases dropped but remained higher than before with an average of ~4500 cases per year.
