OVG supports the All Trials campaign

Oxford Vaccine Group supports the All Trials campaign for all clinical trials to be registered and all study methods and results to be published, and has signed the online petition . This petition now has over 40,000 signatures from around the world, including hundreds of key organizations such as large drug companies.

Why is this important?

The All Trials site explains: ‘Around half of all clinical trials have not been published; some trials have not even been registered. If action is not taken urgently, information on what was done and what was found in trials could be lost forever, leading to bad treatment decisions, missed opportunities for good medicine, and trials being repeated unnecessarily.’

What is OVG’s policy on registration and publication of trials?

  • All clinical trials in which Oxford Vaccine Group is involved are:
  • OVG always retains editorial control in joint publications with industry partners.
  • We endeavour to inform all trial participants of the study results and provide them with access to trial publications whenever possible under copyright.

What can I do to help?

In order to be successful, the campaign needs to maintain pressure on governments around the world. You can help by signing the petition at www.alltrials.net – with every 10,000 new signatures, the petition is sent to health ministers and regulators internationally.
